Last week, BLAST Gateway kids were super excited to receive a visit from Toronto Fire Services.
The Fire Fighters gave our BLAST kids a tour of the different equipment they use when attending a call out and participants were even lucky enough to see the inside of the fire truck! Our friends at Toronto Fire Services also shared some great fire safety tips with our kids.
For one participant, the visit was especially important. Aria wrote a note to the Fire Fighters to say Thank you for the amazing job that they do in keeping people safe and for helping him and his neighbours when their building caught fire. Check out Aria’s note below!
